“AYUMI” was born in spring 2000.  Its name comes from an alternate reading of the character “Fu”, a piece of Japanese chess (Shogi). The “fu” goes forward steadily and eventually changes to “To-kin” (powerful movement). Therefore our philosophy of “fu” and “AYUMI” is to go forward step by step and accumulate its history and at the end it evolves with high possibility.
